Twice a year, fashion lovers from around the world descend on New York City in anticipation of the unveiling by some of the most renowned designers of the coming season’s collections, known as New York Fashion Week. In between my searches of inspiration for good cooking, I was fortunate enough to attend Daniel Silverstain‘s Spring 2016 runway show, thanks to my great friend and blog boss inspiration, Damask Suitcase.
The Spring 2016 collection of New York based designer Daniel Silverstain was inspired by Expo 67 in Montreal and featured a futuristic take on architectural shapes and patterns, splashes of candy colors on crisp white fabrics, and delicious metallic jackets.
The show was impeccably styled with a modern interpretation of the summer braid and finished with stunning silver dots below the eyes.
With so many bold yet refreshing looks, I can hardly wait ’til springtime!

What a fabulous collection! Loved the post!
Thanks so much Damask Suitcase! Couldn’t have done it without you!
Hmm it looks like your blog ate my first comment (it was extremely long) so I guess
I’ll just sum it up what I submitted and say, I’m thoroughly
enjoying your blog. I too am an aspiring blog writer but I’m
still new to everything. Do you have any recommendations for
beginner blog writers? I’d certainly appreciate it.
